January 16, 2018 – Represented STEM for Her, a DC based non-profit focused on making educational opportunities available to girls and young women which encourage them to pursue STEM-related careers, at the Microstrategy World 2018 Women’s Networking event with over 200 people in attendance.

November 16, 2015 – Panel speaker during DC Web Women Speaker Series on smart growth for startups & small business. Will share my experiences at various startups, reviewing their approach to growth, lessons learned and how I think about growth for my own startup. See my presentation on SlideShare.

October 10, 2015 – Presented “Using Social Network for Your Career” at Congressman Don Beyer’s Women Driving the Economy Conference. See my presentation on SlideShare.

September 12, 2015 – Presented with Cayla Evans at the DC Web Women Code(Her) Conference. “Who Will Win the Next Stanley Cup?” told our story of leveraging ice hockey to teach Cayla data analytics and data science techniques. Our talk reviewed our project, methodology, results and lessons learned. Get the presentation, R script and data from my github site.

March 2014 – Mentored as part of STEM+ Women Conference hosted by the George Mason University Game Design Program and SGI, and Women in Technology (WIT) Education Foundation
